Why quilters love the bus

Paducah parking on show day is challenging and the long drive from Louisville can be exhausting. On the bus you skip the lots, the shuttles, and the long drive home in the dark. Your fabric rides in the bay below and you ride up top with friends.

Tickets are fully refundable until March 15, and we'll always try to help resell a seat if your plans change.

Bus trip questions, answered

When do tickets go on sale?

Soon. Join the list above and you'll get the email first.

Where does the bus leave from?

Quilted Joy, 12316 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243. Park in our lot for the day. If you can carpool with any other friends going, our retail neighbors in the lot will appreciate it.

Is show admission included?

Yes. Your AQS QuiltWeek admission, the show book, and the driver's tip are all part of your ticket.

What if I need to cancel?

Tickets are fully refundable until the cutoff date March, 15, 2027. After that we'll do our very best to help you resell your seat, though we can't guarantee it but most of the time it isn't hard at all.

Can I bring a friend who doesn't quilt?

Of course. Every rider needs a ticket, and there's plenty at the show for non-quilters to enjoy.

Is there room for my fabric haul on the way home?

Yes. Purchases can ride in the luggage bay under the bus if you like.

I have a wheelchair or a walker. Is that a problem?

Not at all! The bus has room. Please know there are a few stairs to get up into the bus, though. Be sure that isn't a problem for you.
