I'll be expanding my stash of Glide threads after using it for quilting. The gentle sheen blended beautifully with my fabrics. Even though it's lighter than the 50 weight threads I usually use for quilting, I didn't experience the thread breaks that gave me pause in using it for the first time. Beautiful thread colors add to its charms.
This is my go-to thread. I use it for everything. I free motion quilt on my domestic machine and use this thread most of the time. It's a great blender.

I started doing ruler work, learned that piecing with 60wt thread works best when quilting over seams. I found Glide 60wt and I refuse to use any other thread in my machine. Best thread ever!!!!
I haven’t used this yet, but it looks like it will be great to quilt the mystery BOM that I am doing.
I wanted to try a thinner Glide thread and it’s perfect for quilting on the long arm .
